Farm Shop

After many years of dreaming, Maxeys Farm Shop was opened in February 2012. The shop started from within the purpose built wooden building situated on our family farm in Kirklington, Nottinghamshire. In 2023 we opened our newly built replacement farm shop and added a restaurant. We take great pride in our homegrown vegetables, from delicious seasonal asparagus, potatoes to, of course, our famous pumpkins! We source many other locally produced foods to compliment our range so that we can provide a complete food haven.

Within our shop we have a butchery counter with locally sourced, fully traceable meat. A deli counter with a large range of cheeses, many English and local where possible. In our farmhouse dressers you’ll find locally produced condiments & preserves, to be accompanied by a wide selection of crackers & biscuits. We have many store cupboard essentials along with soft drinks and confectionery. Locally produced real ales and cider complete your experience and not forgetting our ever-expanding gin collection!  We include a variety of diet intolerances within our ranges so as you can see, there really is something for everyone!

Our own in house bakery has a team of experienced chefs who produce our delicious homemade cakes, sausage rolls, pork pies & meat pies, savouries and seasonal treats.

Our products are sourced as locally as possible – our ethos is to support good quality, local producers. Some of the many local products we stock include award winning Jennys Jams from Lincoln, Clipstone Spirits, Cereals from Tuxford Windmill and many more!

We also have a wonderful selection of giftware & cards...Wrendale Designs, Lily-Flame candles etc.

Our range of giftware expands seasonally and particularly for Halloween, supporting our famous P..P..Pick up a Pumpkin event, where we stock an extensive selection of spooky goodies – perfect to decorate your home for the creepiest Halloween party!

With three generations of our family being involved in the day to day operations of the farm and its shop – we really are a family run farm shop!
